In an interview for FakeShemp.Net, Hussein Khoder, a programmer for Melbourne Underground Film Festival, named 'Wasteworld' as one of his favourites this year!

Hussein: There were quite a few that I really loved. 8 Spiders, To Have and Withhold, The Ashes of Isadora Ivan, Wasteworld, The Actor, Oren and Granny Smith are all short that I loved so much I rewatched them even after they were accepted. I really can wait for everyone to see the amazing shorts we are showing this year.

Thank you Hussein!

The Melbourne Underground Film Festival kicked off on the 11th of September for its 16th year. 'Wasteworld' will be having its WOLRD-PREMIERE at the festival on the 17th of September.

As much as we would LOVE to be there, Australia is a little too far for us, so if anyone else is around Melbourne and wants to support us, please go!! In fact, go regardless! MUFF is a great festival run by deeply passionate individuals with a great love for the underground, the strange and the undiscovered - see for yourself and check out this year's program HERE:

MORE GREAT NEWS!

'Wasteworld' has been selected to play at this year's 'Melbourne Underground Film Festival'! THIS IS SO EXCITING!

MUFF is where the likes of James Wan (Saw) and Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) were launched and is known for its weird, wonderful and sometimes (always?) daring and audacious programming. It's an honour!

Thank you Nicole Magdalena, Tommie Grabiec, Jez Hellion and the whole 'Wasteworld' crew. It wouldn't have happened without you!
